About Us
You will find our little "shop around the corner" located in the historical stone building of 4 Water Street in Chester, CT. Dating back to 1909 when it housed the Leet Brothers Poultry Feeds, the stone facade building has been everything from a service station to a basketball court and everything in between over the past years.
And now, Lark calls it home.
Lark has become a beloved staple in the town of Chester for the last several years. Beginning as a small boutique gift store, it has grown in both physical size and quantity of goods.
Whimsical wonders abound when you set foot into our shop. We love to remind our guests to look high, low, and everywhere in between for all our hidden treasures--because there is much to take in. You may even want to take a few strolls around to make sure you didn't miss anything.
Whether big or small, Lark certainly has it all! If it's a special gift for someone (or even yourself), Lark offers customers a fun and enjoyable atmosphere where they can shop boutique women's clothing, fine jewelry, housewares, fair trade, local artisan goods and much more.
